31-17 Pats. I think they need a bit of a rest. Anyone else??

I'm looking for a total blowout. I want 70+ points from the pats tonight.
-------------------- So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

I should have put $100 on the spread. My buddy won 600.
I need to start gambling.

I had a nasty feeling about this game. The Moss PI call was awful (although I can see why the ref called it from his standpoint) There's only so much get up and go a team can have, and this is about the time the focus starts shifting to the playoffs. The Eagles played a great game and the Moss call was certainly offset by the horrible decision Feely made to lob one up when they only needed a field goal to keep it going. It does suck to see a guy play a game like that only to blow it. If the Pats had lost, and they very well could have, I would have ate my crow like a man. The Eagles had a great game plan. But Belichiznek will be on that game film ASAP, if he isn't already.
I feel pretty good with my call, not to mention the scraps I took home.
I can't believe what's his name hasn't showed up yet to tell me how Brett Favre nearly won this one for the Eagles

good game tonight unfortunately feeley made mistakes at the wrong time, i woulda like to have seen an upset. oh well at least the pats can be treated like mortals now. although what i would like to see is that pats run the table in the season and lose the sb to the packers.

Of course in my heart I want to see Favre win it all and step out on top. I was hurting when I thought he might check out the past couple of years.
But as a lifelong Cubs fan, I've learned to love what's in front of you, and NOT what you hope for.
Right now, the patriots caught a horrible call at the exact wrong time (again, offset by the Freely mistake) and played like crap into an Eagles team that had everything working and still won.
BelliChek will learn from this and they will adapt. The dude is like Patton. I'm not sure who they play next week, but I expect a blowout. Mark that.
