A few realizations
    #7678435 - 11/25/07 03:04 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

I guess being so sick in the last few weeks I had alot of time to think....

1. I love you guys. Like seriously. Its almost sad, when I thought I was in big trouble and might actually die like the doctors were suggesting, I wanted to be a big fag and go blabbing about how much i miss this place and love everyone and on and on. I wanted to sit here and just bullshit.

2. I take my body for granted. I felt like a real ass, knowing full well that I eat terribly, don't sleep, work too much, party too much, put a bunch of crap in my body and expect it to work.

3. I do not have a handle on death. I seriously consider for a long while how shitty it would be if hell existed and the likelihood that I'd be going there.

What would make you even entertain the idea of hell existing?

1. We love you too.

2. Take care of yourself. You have something special, so you should treat it well.

3. I don't think very many people do have a handle on death. I know I don't.

:stoned::heartpump:  Hell is only in your mind.  Free your mind with love.

Love you too.  Glad you're okay and I'll get to see you again eventually.

haha no one has a HANDLE on death. its the ultimate unknown. but on the bright side, theres just as much of a chance of hell existing as there is magical gumdrop land
hell would be okay also, its where all the fun people would hang out.

And an even better chance that we're all just a random collection of cells and we only entertain the idea of an afterlife because we are narcissistic.

1.  Online love!

2.  I suggest that you start eating well.  I'm a health nazi.  Eat healthy naural food and don't eat garbage.  Also, exercise (even if it's just going for a walk) every day.

3.  Why would you of all people go to hell?  I just don't see it.

Big hugs!  :inlove:

Death feels okay to me because of birth.  I was born once, and so I shall die.  It feels natural and okay to die because I was born.  What was I before I became me?  What will I be after me?  There's emptiness and unknown on both sides of this moment of life.  So since I came from the unknown, I feel okay going back.

It's all okay, either way.

I was raised as a Catholic...I can't help the thought creeping in every once in awhile.....

Olive: I got sick and the doctors thought I had a series of fatal ailments, menegitis, purpra (blood vessels burst and you flood your body with your own blood and die). However, I'm still alive so false alarm.

I fail to see why you believe that. Life has taken hold wherever possible on this planet(http://library.thinkquest.org/CR0212089/hisextrem.htm), is it really so unlikely? Considering the vastness of the universe I feel entirely positive saying that there are trillions of other forms of intelligent life. Why are we so special? We all die and help to support other forms of life. I don't see why it is seen so negatively. We're not important. I would even go so far as to say life is inevitable but not in the sense that life will be in particular place. Do you know what I mean?

1.

2. Yeah I take my body for granted sometimes too. Feel like an ass for it especially since I know a lot better. The saying, you are what you eat.. is so true. Eat well.. or at least as well as you are able to. No one needs to workout all the time but at least get some walking exercise and fresh air and sunshine, that stuff is really taken for granted in modern society.

3. IMO, hell is in the mind. I know cause I've been there. We have a choice how we want to live life in the present, and our perception on reality is all that matters in how we see it. Life is a very, very dynamic place.. and you can have many different views of reality. Heaven and Hell are states of mind.
As for what's after death, I have a few ideas.. but I try not to dwell on them and just live every moment of life as I have it in the present. If the rest of Nature and The Universe is any indication to the overall scheme of life and death.. everything is a neverending cycle and life feeds death feeds life. I wouldn't worry too much about eternal suffering and agony and torment with fire and brimstone. Religion has been one of the greatest vices of our civilization and caused much pain and suffering itself. I'm relatively sure the Universe is a place full of love, and if hell exists we're in it already here on Earth. Don't worry about death, because everyone who lives has to die eventually, it's part of the cycle of life. Just live life to its fullest while you can. And when your time comes, go in peace.
<3

somehow, I don't think shrooms are the answer to any of those problems, definatly not the health issues.
