i belive thats the temp for fruiting, i belive incubation temps are around 86* +/-
-------------------- my theory: why do we have tolerance? because mother nature created us and shrooms, and she decides when we can see into other realms! and by the sounds of it that one every 2 weeks!

Room temperature for incubation is absolutly fine, 86 is far to hot, while 86 may in some cases be optimal for fast growth, myc will produce its on temperature from 1-3 degrees, so if your ambient temps are 86 the temps within the jar could be way over optimum.
Room temperature is just fine. The should colinise in roughly the same time. I incubate at 80 and get 100% colinisation in 14 days.
Fruiting at the same temps as incubation should pose no problems, as rr would say that he has not really found much evidence to support that temp drops are nessary to induce good pinning and fruiting.
I would just stick with the temps you have, it will only slow things down marginaly.

86 is a little high.i put lc's / grain jars and colonizing substrates in an "airing cupboard" that stays around the 70f mark (if i leave the door open)~76 if i close it.i prefer it open, grain jars are usually "done" within 10 days. my fruiting chambers on the other hand, are in a room that didn't even get to 70f,even at the height of our summer

one more question. I plan to dunk and roll. should i dunk at room temp or in the fridge. There seems to be alot of debate on this what is your opinion veda i have kinda been sticking to your advise so far.

I like to dunk in a pot of cold water with the lid on at a cool place. My argument is that cubes do not benifit from cold temps. But others swear by it as it slows the growth of bacteria that may be in the water.
I have never had problems dunking at room temp.
If it makes you feel safer then dunking in the fridge is fine, at the most it will slow things down by a day or 2.

I know i can prob look this up, but i am setting up my fruiting chamber with about 5 to 6 inches of perlite. im am going to let it run a couple days prior to birthing to figure out any bugs. Now my question what should my RH be when i birth them into the chamber compared to when they start to fruit?
