picked up a pound today for use in experimental danksgiving jambalaya...
they were going for $6.99/lb i just happened to browse past the mushrooms, not expecting much but lo and behold, ralph's had oysters, enoki, pigs ears, shitake, maitake and even some chanterelles ($39.99/lb).
perhaps i'll cut my cultivational teeth on an oyster grow thanks ralph's!

cheers! the colour's a little off because it's a webcam shot...but hey, it was damn tasty and fed at least twenty stoned young people, so i consider it a success.
and thanks to everyone for their advice i'm a total n00b when it comes to cultivation, so i'm going to wait until i have enough time to devote to such a project (i.e. winter break) if i get it started though, i'll try and keep a grow log for y'allll.
