Spawning to Coir with BRF cakes

I've read up a lot and i have gone out and purchased some coir to spawn to. I was just wondering if i need to let my cakes consolidate the extra week before i spawn or if i just need them to get fully colonized. My cakes have about a day left to full colonization, do i need to let them stay in the jars any longer before I spawn? Also if im running on a tight schedule can i even spawn them before there 100 percent colonized... like around 90 percent or so?

Don't bump your own posts within 24 hours please. Let them sit for a few days at least before spawning to bulk. RR

Yea sorry about the bump, i wasn't aware of the rule. Is the extra few days just to insure that they are fully colonized? Also, Would the major purpose of "full" colonization be to avoid contamination of the uncolonized substrate?

This is my first grow... but i have almost 30 jars that i inoculated in my still air box and i don't have a single one that got contaminated. I am pretty sure this is the case, but when mycelium grows in the jars... its grows equally in all directions right? I am going to spawn to pure Coir and I am going to case it with 60/40 verm/coir. Sound good to you?

If the gas exchange is coming from the top of the jar, wouldn't it make sense that the growing would occur more, at a faster pace towards the top of the jar.
Maybe you'll want to flip the jars so that the bottom will "get fresh air", and have a better gas exchange. I think it would be a good idea, if the box is still-air, to fan it every couple days.

No offense man... but you must be on crack, nothing you just said makes sense. I highly recommend reading more before you post.
