Bought some Pan Cyan from a shroomery sponsor. Now when they fruit they look suspiciously like regular cubensis (but the mycelia was thinner). Is it possible that this is Pan Cyan fruits?

I also bought the same "Pan Cyan" from probably the same sponsor and it is only a particular strain of Cubensis.

Cubies grow very well on grain/WBS!
You, 100% positively, have a cube there.

cubes love wbs, and that isn't a pan cyan, it's a cubensis.
pan cyan would never ever grow in cubensis parameters...
also search the forums for images of pan cyans, they look NOTHING alike.

That's news to me. I used to grow them both side by side, and even combined both into a single substrate a few times. They both like cow or horse manure, and both fruit readily under the same fruiting conditions. Pans tend to take an extra week to pin, but not always. RR

pans prefer WAY more fae, way more humidity, and a lot warmer temps, but i forgot, you are god of mycology so everything you say is spot on 100% correct.

you can inoculate rye, spawn to manure, no deeper then 1 to 1.5 inches. use a quarter inch casing layer when you do case it. when you fruit it, keep rH @100%, FAE constant and intense, and keep the temp damn near 85*F..
cubes tend to contam at those params.

No, cyans tend to contam at those parameters. Keep rH anywhere from 90 - 95, and temp at 78-80 and lots of FAE.
jeetered maybe this hobby isn’t for you.

I've successfully grown Pan Cyans in monotubs right alongside my Cubensis under the same conditions, though they do require a higher baseline MINIMUM of FAE then their Cubensis counterparts.

And in this instance you are, ive been a member here for half a decade, newb. I recently retired my previous account.
Now lets see what his pan cyan flushes looked like that he produced at those parameters...
If he’s even grown pan cyans…
