look at the guy that's 2.5 years of use, that's some fucked up change. He went from some big trucker/construction worker looking dude to a scared little troll. you can see the pain in his eyes.

I can't understand how anyone could even get adducted to coke personally, but I don't think that you're a "loser" for getting hooked. I imagine that there are certain people, who given their psychological and physiological makeup are predisposed to falling in love with what it does.
What is easy for you & non-existent for me, may be the devil to somebody else. I'm sure it's vice versa.
I've always thought that if you gave every person coke, heroin, XTC, and glass at different times and administered it in a manner that gave them a chance to let the drug bring out what it does (i.e. XTC with friends and a bunch of fun stuff & not in the backseat of a car as you're driving 4 hours before a concert) and follow that initial experience a couple of more times in rapid succession that almost every person would either become somewhat addicted, develop a horrible jones, or at least see themselves in a very different manner forever.
After being around drugs for a while, you can pretty much predict which drug will be a downfall for a person based on who they already are.

We all carry with us overconsumption genes, whatever the substance happens to be. When it's meth or food, the symptoms are obvious. Possessing shit you never use or owning a home with rooms you never use are merely symptoms of the same neurological characteristic of humanity.
Starvation, shortages or food, scarcity of resources have driven our evolution since the beginning (because it causes premature death). Overindulgence is merely symptomatic of abundance, something humanity has never experienced like today, except perhaps in the fictional garden of eden.

This is such bullshit. I was an IV meth addict for 6-7 years on and off (usually 6 months to a year straight everyday, then 3-6 months off in rehab), and when people see me without makeup now they say I look fucking 12.

It looks like they just gave them all a bunch of beers and beat the shit out of them before taking the second picture.

It's so easy to quit doing, that's the point. It's not physically addicting, no withdrawals. You WANT to quit because your nose hurts so fucking bad, and you can't afford it, and you realize that you ruined all of your relationships with everybody you know. When your nose is dripping blood like somebody just broke it then it's easy to stop. It's fun but you can say anything is addicting, it's just human nature. It's harder to quit smoking cigarettes than coke. Anybody can quit doing coke, the only time you want is when it's all gone.. and then after that you don't really even desire it. Until later down the road..

You don't know anything about meth addiction, do you?
Try having a heavy daily meth habit, and then quitting while you're in school or having a job (even harder if you're holding 2 jobs at once). Then see if you pass or fail or fail or get fired. Shit... I've pushed myself to the point where I had a seizure and vomitted and pissed/shat my pants horrendously, and had a fluctuating temperature of 106-108degrees and almost died... and even THEN i STILL wanted to do more... a few days after the incident i was like "shit that wasnt so bad" and just ended up doing it again.
By your definition, a benzo/alcohol habit is significantly worse than a heroin habit. I mean shit, nobody's ever DIED from heroin withdrawal, so big fucking deal right?--it's just extremely uncomfortable...but people have actually died from abrupt benzo and alcohol withdrawal. Still, I wouldn't consider benzos or alcohol to be the most addictive drugs on the planet.
IMO, stimulants will fuck up your life more more violently than any other drug on the market.

Most likely, from what I can understand about you from your posts, you were probably a lot younger than most of these people & You state that you took time off and cleaned out every year. I bet that most of these folks haven't taken a break (except when they were dry or in jail) for an eternity. That type of momentum adds up BIG time!!
I live in the county that was for years THE meth capital of America. Long before the Mexican super labs and every novice working a bathtub, the biker gangs used our county for distribution due to it's location and lack (back then, certainly not now) of federal law enforcement.
I grew up around this stuff and where I live if you venture out after 10 on any given night, you will see these OLD school meth heads all over. And those pictures are not the worst examples of abuse I've seen.

Thanks for the heads up. I personally don't understand coke. My mom dealt it and I was around it for a lot of my young childhood, and I tell you what, that crap makes daemons out of people. Normal folks freaking out to the end of time.
I tried it for the first time at 24. My friend got pretty high in the ranks (no pun intended) of a major city's drug trade and he was very much into it. We share a lot of common traits, and knowing he could get premium stuff at a very low cost, I went on a little binge to find out what the fuss was all about. I wasn't impressed. But again, maybe it just doesn't line up with who I am, because every person I was around was LOVING it. Loving it. I personally wouldn't do it for free.
Even though, as I mentioned, I grew up in a meth hotbed, I've seen many, many more people worked over by coke than I have all other drugs combined.

Nope. Wyoming. In what was the central distribution place for the bikers who were on their rallies up to Sturgis SD back in the beginning of this scourge when only they could cook up "the pure". It's also "the oil capital of the Rockies" and has a HUGE population during energy booms (like now) of men (and usually their ladies) who use the crap to stay awake to make that $$ on the rigs.
