yeah...I do that a lot myself
most of the time though - it's a reactionary response where I'm spewing forth some random bullshit out of anger that I really don't mean, and (thankfully) I catch myself when I go to preview my post and re-read it, and I realize that it truely is a proverbial 'bullshit response' ... so I bail out before I ever even post it
although...that's generally not the case when I'm drunk

The Shroomery would be even more awesome if they archived expired posts so that we could still go way back and read them.
I only start a post if I want people's opinions or advice. I reply to a post if I feel I have something to share.
Info that I want to share, but don't necessarily need comments for ... those go in my journal.

Once in a while. Usually it's because I realize I'm just disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing.
-------------------- Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man. For him all doors are flung wide: him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire. Our love goes out to him and embraces him, because he did not need it. ~ R.W. Emerson, "Self-Reliance"

Ha, me too.
-------------------- Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis
