Screwed by X10 timer, is project still salvagable?
    #767235 - 07/22/02 10:03 AM (21 years, 4 months ago)

The X10 timer for my fruiting chamber decided to not turn the humidifier off and had the humidifier on for about 2.5 hours before I was able to get home to shut it off. No pools of water collected in the two trays but there is a decent amount of waterbubbles on the mycellium and casing. Any suggestions? I have the chamber flap open to try and let it dry out a little. Everything is in a pretty small room w/ a hepa filter going so I'm not too concerned about contams getting at it but who knows.....I'm 5 days into the fruiting cycle and was expecting pins any day. One try is cased w/ peat/coco coir mix, the other is straight coir.

Help?

Sounds like you're doing all that can be done. Be patient, I'm sure everything will work out.

Get some air exchange going (sounds like you already are) and you'll probably be just fine.

Does any of the mycelium look matted? You can always scratch that if worst comes to worst, but wait a few days and see how things look.

It's very unlikely you won't be able to salvage anything...
