Deciduous trees should not be replanted untill they go dormant for the season. They don't like to have their soil disturbed while their roots are still growing. For a more detailed description of how to replant trees go here: http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/trees/ What kind of Jap Maples are they? Do you have any more seeds? If so, want to do a swap? PM me if you do.
