establishing shrooms in lawn

for years, i have used a mulching mower on my lawn. i've just spent several days chopping up all the fallen leaves right into the lawn as well. i use no chemicals of any type. (very organic.) i assume that leaves are fairly similar to the fibers in wood that cyans and azzures seem to thrive on. often, after a good rain, many shrooms pop up on their own, but i'm uncertain as to their species. so, is there any fairly reliable method to establish a healthy mycelium colony in the grass? i figure that the lawn owes me for all the years of care i've provided.

Cyans and Azures thrive on wood chips not leaves...
the only reason you see leaves in most Cyan pictures is because they start coming up during Fall, when all the leaves are already on the ground.
the only time you will see these 2 species growing up from grass...
is when grass has grown over the top of some wood chips that they were already growing off of.
In my area there are only a few grass species of active mushrooms.
Stuntzii is the main one...

good luck trying to starting any species of grass mushrooms outdoors in your lawn...
they are truely a bitch.

i've always wanted to do this too
i was thinking you could get a nice strain of lawn actives and you could spawn it to a composted container and plant it like people do with lilacs and stuff

maybe if you threw some spores in the grass and watered it? lol probably not but its worth a try.
Although I did start a mulch/manure/sawdust/grass/leaves and other shit last winter and watered it everyday...it eventually grew shrooms that looked a bit like liberty caps, it had the nipple and everything.. i have to try this again to see what the hell those shrooms were...
remember dont eat them if you dont know them
