A friend and I are diving into the mushroom realm tonight and I need a good no-heat recipe so I can down the little buggers. We're going to be out camping so that's exactly why I need a recipe w/o heat involved. I'm not what you would call a fan of the fungis taste so I'd appreciate some feedback. Peace

honey works well to hide the taste. i like to grind the shrooms in a coffee grinder. that way you don't have to chew 'em, and it evens out the potency if you are splitting them with a friend. i have heard that peanut butter also hides the taste well, but i haven't tried that. maybe you could try making a peanut butter and honey sandwich? that would probably do the trick. another one to try is orange juice. you can mix the powdered shrooms into the juice (just swirl the cup as you drink so you don't have a bunch of sludge to choke down at the bottom of the cup) or just use the juice to wash 'em down. hope that helps a little.

What? Are you serious? The delicious chocolate bar with caramel inside each square? How do they do it man?! How do they get the caramel into the Caramilk bar?? Perhaps mankind will never know.

I meant 1 part by volume, not weight of course. It would be silly otherwise.

Stick them in a sandwich...stick them in a candybar...stick them in some yogurt...stick them in a salad (my personal favorite)...stick them in your mouth eiter way!

Grind and mix with OJ, drink it down!
Since I came down from Oregon, there's a lesson or two I've learned By standing in the road alone, standing watching the fires burn.

Break up em real small with your hands. Then just scoop some up. Put in mouth. Wash down with your beverage of choice. No chewing no tasting. Works for me.
