How does the Hydro-Pod work?

Hi, I would like to build an automated fruiting chamber such as the hydro-pod because i cant afford buying one. So i need geo-lite, a bucket, a dome, and what else? Can anyone tell me where to acquire these and how the hydro-pod works? I know there is a pump as well, somone please explain how all of this works.
