Anybody have any experience with this strain, moreover, were their spores quite large and come in one large chunk and are very visible to the eye?

Come on, spores aren't large or small like eggs...they're all microscopic and they're all going to behave similarly. They *will* clump together if left for extended periods of time.
In response to your first question I believe they do live up to their name. Some people say that certain strains are more visual and other are more intellectual - well these seem to be extraordinarily intellectual. A friend who was quite experienced with eating large amounts (in the 7g region) ate 7 grams of golden teacher and tripped harder than he has ever.

Well this syringe has been all by its lonesome in a desk drawer for 8 months, never been opened. I"m wondering if these large strings and clumps I see ( which are quite a bit larger then my pink buffalo if I remember correctly) are spores, or floating mold now. I've already shaken everything up, but there's still these black clumps the size of pin heads or grains of sand. My Pink buffalo was just..basically clear water, but this is just full these rather large black chunks. I dunno, perhaps there's just allot of spores in there and I'm just freaking out.

imo i wouldnt think they were contamed , specially if its not been opened there is a small chance but more likely just clumping, i had have a cambodian syringe which clumped and even seemed to show a liyyle growth, so i put it to a lc and its doing just fine

Alright I appreciate the help:) I'm just getting jittery because I'm waiting for the birdseed to soak and I'm trying to figure out how to build an incubator, heh.

i think the easiest and most tidy way of incubating is in a closet, if you have one spare i have a built in closet in my computer room which was empty untill i started growing, i have an electric radiator in there and took me about a week to get the temp perfect but its been running for 3 months now no worries, ive added more shelves to accomidate all my jars of lc and cakes

Its most likely just the spores clumping together, i have 3 spore syringes that had heavy spore clumping and they worked just fine.
Spores in a solution of wateer will tend to stick together of time.

To avoid clumping you have to add sex lube to your syringe.
I'm not kidding this is true. It is of a specific kind and in small amounts, but because most of the people here are from the US they suggest brands I'm not familiar with so I never remember them
But it's on the boards, just give it a search

This is different from vendor to vendor and not an indication of contam nor quality IMO as the spores in the syringes I got from Spores101 were almost invisible but T.H.E all clumped together and the solution definitely looked "muddy" which somehow gave me a bigger sense of satisfaction. With that said, I'm currently growing 2 Spores101 strains and both colonizing beautifully. I just recently inoculated 1/4 pint jars with a syringe from T.H.E and even that one seems to have started early, thanks to smaller size jar so everything is A OK!

Golden teacher is the fastest colonizer i have used, it's a great strain one of the best definitely. There were a ton of spores in mine, but that just means they are clumped up. Ralphsters is the only sponsor I use.
