We ALL know that unless there is an injury to a major player, with the talent, experience, coaching, and blood thirsty desire the Pats have this season, there is exactly ZERO chance that New England gets beat by anyone.

It reminds me of Mr. Roger's neighborhood, "Today's word boys and girls, is Annihilation".

i think that pats are very very good, but if you give a underdog a chance of a lifetime you'd be surprised what they can do, people seem to be forgetting how hard it actually is to go undefeated. In the NFL almost any team can beat any team, at any givin time, no matter how good you think that pats are.

It's not an issue of think. This team is so blood thirsty, well prepared, well coached, stupidly talented and just plain wanting to destroy their opponents that it's a whole different story than anything we have ever seen. Maybe in the history of team sports (stat boy get on that!)

When the past few NFL franchises have got to 10-0, the talk became of resting and pulling back the dogs and what this may be and what that may be and blah blah blah. Not with these guys. They want history. They want the 19-0. And most of all, they want blood.

Thank God for Eric Mangeni (sp)

I think saying there is a ZERO chance is pretty ignorant and arrogant. I think the odds are in every teams favor right now. The Pats are cocky and it will bite them in the ass. They will think they are better than everyone and they will lose because of arrogance.

They won't lose if they continue to BE better than everyone else. They are arrogant and cocky, but they deserve to be such. Until someone proves that they can be brought back down to Earth, they can act however they please.

There is no doubt in my mind that they are better than every team in the NFL right now. However, they will be beaten because of their arrogance and it WILL be a team that they ARE better than. Miami maybe? Id like to see that victory. Their only win NE only loss. Maybe The Giants?

What kind of arrogance are they showing that will lead to their defeat? Scoring when the other team's defense can't stop them? Making their players play the whole game to earn their salary? Why should they let up? This isn't peewee or high school football, these are professional athletes who play football for a living.

Yeah, and that's the point. Of the 4 or 5 times (I'm sure we can all come up with a list here, '85 Bears, '89 Niners, '98 Broncos and '06 Colts come to my mind) that there has been a chance for a team to run the table, all of them with the exception of The Bears would have been faced with the unavoidable question and issue of making the right move to rest your key players as playoff seeding and home field get locked up. That kind of stuff is in the head of EVERY player in the NFL from day one. Even if they do strike gold and end up on one of the magical teams of all time, they KNOW that they'll most likely have to give a game away in the name of rest if they can even get to the point of it mattering.

And that's where these Pats are different. They were back stabbed by a rat (who I don't blame, you gotta do what you can) for doing something to the effect of what every team does to one extent or another, and the country, by and large, questioned the validity of their 3 titles. Some even going so far as to say it was what won them those titles. This is personal, from Belichek down to the team manager, they want blood. This isn't tennis, it's a horribly brutal sport with short careers and shorter life expectancy for those who play.

These Patriots are going to do everything in their power to put on FULL display what they have had all along in their arsenal. And THAT is something that we have never had a Chance to witness in action before. All of those other teams would have been put in crazy binds if they had made it to 15-0 and had history calling them. The situation of being undefeated late in the season often divides players and coaches, along with management and fans as to what should be done. We've watched it happen with the above teams.

But not now. From all indications it is full steam ahead, and everyone is on board, and I can't say that I blame them. I suggest that you quit hating on the greatest team of all time and enjoy it. Can they lose?? Sure. But unless they decide to change course, my money is on 19-0 vs even one loss. Care to wager??

I love the Packers and Brett Favre is my favorite player, but Brady is anything but a bitch.

Dang, and I'm the one getting the "arrogant and ignorant" label slapped on my posts  :ohwell:

I'm telling you man, I love me some Brett Favre. I'm a Bears fan, and I have always rooted for him. Favre is THE man. No doubt. I feel he is a real player just like my sports hero Walter Payton (who I named my son after) But even if he snorted some of Vince Lombardi's ashes ala' Keith Richards he's is NOT going to beat the Pats this year. It just will not happen. If it does I'll be happy I guess, but it won't happen.

Who's coaching the packers anyways? Not to degrade them, they're doing a great job. But against a pissed off Belicheck??      (I'll spell it different every time I swear I will)

the pats don't have video footage of the pack = the pack winning the SB lol of course everyone is gonna say the pats will take out the pack, but to say it a lock is just stupid, most superbowls are pretty good games, who's to say how the pack and pats will match up??

The Pats would destroy the Packers unless as I say, they finally pull back a bit. Period. The line at this point has to be 10 or so. And that's against a 10-1 team!!

And as far as the comment that "most Super Bowls are pretty good games", well, most games are pretty good games depending on your definition of a "pretty good game". I would suggest that considering that the SB is supposedly represents the 2 strongest teams in the league, the majority of super bowls are anywhere from decent whipping's to straight out crush jobs.

At this point if the two teams met and they were playing for $$$, say 50K for each player and coach for each point that the victor wins by (great fantasy huh??)
I'm saying NE 66 & GB 20. Maybe. Maybe.
