Well Christ if this isn't the lamest thing I've ever seen in my fucking life.

No shit. I felt uncomfortable watching it.
And I couldn't even hear the guy singing, which is actually fine with me, but still, that shit should've been blaring out my TV speakers.
Terrible.

I dont think the Goo Goo Dolls are untalented. Look how many records they have sold, look how many hit songs they have had.
The performance (like ever half-time show performance) was bad due to sound quality. The NFL has never rigged the stages right for anyone.

The Goo Goo Dolls are terrible. The performance was bad b/c they are a shitty band.
If making and selling records was the standard for being talented artists, that qualifies N'Sync and the Spice Girls as well.

Goo Goo dolls are better than the Spice girls. Kinda. Actually there are a couple of goo goo dolls songs that I liked when my taste in music was still pretty poor. But redstorm pretty much nailed it on the head.

I disagree with you. Selling CDs does mean talent. N'Sync were incredible vocalists... no my preference in music but they are very good. Same with the Spice Girls. Good vocalists poor style choice. Goo Goo Dolls are good. If they werent, their CDs would not sell and they would not have hit songs.
You may not like them, but all the evidence favors the fact that they are not "terrible."

Justin Timberlake is a great talent, but the rest of them.... "incredible"??
I agree they aren't terible. If you want to see a terrible band, come to one of the honky tonks in my state on an average night.

Ok, maybe incredible was the wrong word but definately good vocalists. Their harmonies on their christmas album were pretty flawless.
Of course I have no way to know how much of their albums are studio.
