As a star can only follow the laws of gravity and inertia, how can it stray from it's path?

I guess either you are a conscious being and stars aren't or they are and you're not.
I'd like to think both are true.

The five forces:
1. The electromagnetic force
2. The weak atomic force
3. The strong atomic force
4. Gravity
5. What MM would like to think
BZZZZZT! Sorry, that is not how the universe works. What you would like to think has no bearing on reality nor the laws of physics. Some education might help here. I can recommend a good physics book if you need one.

93 There are no laws of physics, only rules. Did not Bell's theorem completely rock the world of physics? And there will always be new theorems discovered that make people who think they know "how the universe works", think again. And just like a dog chasing it's own trail, or the psychonaut who always feels that they were ever so close to reaching "it" on that last trip, the physicist will live and die hungry until the fact that truth is not only dynamic, but non-dimensional, is realized. Chaos is thy lord. "There is no law beyond do what thou wilt"(AL III,60). 93 93/93

Unless in a tornado or hurricane, every apple ever dropped fell down. Discovery may be dynamic, but the laws, even if we do not fully understand them, are FIXED!

93 Not quite. These rules are only based upon certain conditions. When these conditions change, so do the rules. The "laws" of gravity do not apply to the astral. And before you get all up in a tizzy over what constitutes the astral, keep in mind the argument that it is another world, perceptible through higher vibratory frequencies, carries as much validity as it is merely a construct of the mind(but howso can a mind construct anything? Is it not a projection?). No argument is ever 1 as there is always a factor unknown. 93 93/93

93 "Nothing is true, everything is permitted". 1 cannot wholly understand, only approximate. As Fido once barked "the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe", the aspirant, knowing the folly of reason, must play the fool as well as (s)he plays the master. Everything is inherently blissful, but remains stifling until it dissolves. There is a formula of which this thread is in desperate need. 0=2. 1 1 nothing but the laughter of the sun. 93 93/93
