First, thanks to organicdomino, good advice. Been 2 weeks and I don feel like smoking, but after a few years of daily use, I spose the process is just finding out who you are without it in your life. For me, like everyone else quitting, the main problems where the sleep issues, the stomach aches, but that got better then I seem to be having problems with temper and irritability. As a pretty laid back guy, i'm pissing my friends off with my temper as I lose it quickly. Worst thing is I am well aware of it, but don seem to be able to do anything! Doing the whole exercise and diet thing. Any advice as to how I can chill out when i get annoyed well easily?? Thanks and good luck. I think the concensus is to just stick to it.

Glad to see advice I gave over 2 years ago (!) is still coming in handy.

Here's how you quit: stop being a bitch and just don't smoke. It's not that bad and after the first day it's very easy. Being irritable when you stop smoking daily is normal, deal with it.

Weed doesn't change you if you don't let it

yeah - keep busy. when i have stuff to do - i cant smoke - by virtue of not being able to lay back and burn one.
I find the first 2 weeks to be br00tal - after that Im ok - Also - try not to associate with ppl who are smoking for those first few days/weeks - thats helps a lot.
Good luck! OoD

it's really not that difficult.. just a change.
i fought with the anxiety/panic attacks for a little while. as soon as i got my head in a better place, SHO NO, those panic attacks left and i could enjoy the herb again. i would literally trip balls and fucking wig the hell out at times on a funk overdose in my younger years.

Hehe the guy hasn't made a post in 18 months. I think he has the hang of it now.
