grab a mushroom and take a core sample and start an LC

I would grab a few and see if you can either do that or isolate a print sample

so spore prints are better than actual mycelem? could someone post a link to core sampleing. also i think it would be difficult to do a core sample because they aren't growing very tall so they are darven in size.

You won't clone P cyanescens without a flow hood or good glovebox, lots of antibiotic agar, and some experience. It's one of the harder outdoor mushrooms to clone successfully because of all the bacteria and other fungi that hitch along for the ride.
I'd just spread an inch or two of fresh hardwood chips on the area after they're done flushing to ensure they come back next year. RR

That wouldn't be necessary! You'd just ruin the established patch you're taking the mycelium from and probably fuck up the one you try to introduce to another spot.
I'd suggest to take a few matured mushrooms with you and take spore prints. Go ahead as if it were Cubes. Prepare some jars with the typical mixture of BRF and Vermiculite and inoculate them just the way you do it with Cubensis. When the jars are completely colonized (should be pretty fast, since the myc is very aggressive wait another two weeks and then spawn it to soaked wood chips and let them colonized for a few weeks. You can either let them in the flower box you let the wood chips colonize or make a whole new patch in spring. The alternative would be to let some BRF cakes colonize and spawn them directly to an outdoor bed of wood chips. This you would have to do in spring and when it's fall you'll pretty likely see some fruits It worked out for me excellent every time I've tried it. Same with Azures. If it doesn't work out for you use Agar. No matter what you do, don't take more than a few wood chips with you, or you ruin your patch.

Well, it has been posted several times and I guess that, if you search for it, you'll find it but the easiest way, which is quiet reliable is to pressure cook or microwave some water (it's necessary to cover it, so no mold spores can enter it), let it cool down, to take a clean syringe, then heat up a knife or something like that (heating is for sterility) and to scratch of some spores from the print into the water (which needs to be uncovered for several seconds, so you probably want your environment to be clean or do it in a glove box), to mix up the spores with the water and soak up the the solution with your syringe. Before inoculating each jar, you need to flame the needle of the syringe to keep it most sterile. There will actually be some mold spores that will find their way into the jars, no matter how clean you work but you can try to reduce the amount of them, by working most clean and fast. Since the prints won't be completely clean anyway, it's quiet likely that you fail at some stage but don't be discouraged by it. Some WILL be OK. I guess the reason fo me, not to have any molds in my Cyna or Azure jars was simply luck.
That's actually it.
