i really wish i was a bit more of an "active" person in that regard.. unfortunately, i'm generally a spectator after the fact...
if this became a nation-wide movement, i don't even know what would really happen... politically, probably nothing.. until groups from the other side started rising up to battle the protest groups.. that would put the police and others in a weird spot.. who's really committing the crime, then?
definately a good video for instigating emotion, though.

ps: see you this weekend?!? no flaking.. i'll have people looking for you.

What's with this peaceful protesting bullshit? How come no one realizes that police don't get in trouble for brutality anymore? What happened to riots and molotov cocktails? If we had military vehicles moving here, I'd have been sitting in my road parked on the side while they drove by, then lobbed a molotov right in front of the truck and took off.
That'd have stopped traffic for a couple hours.

the only way "the people" can make their voice heard loud and clear is an armed uprising on the order of the original American Revolution. But the Establishment has us all so divided on other issues that the sort of National Unity we need to affect change will never happen.
the war machine and those who profit from it will continue to roll on, if need be over the beaten, gassed and maimed bodies of those few who try to stand in its way.

and, unfortunately, their actions did absolutely nothing just like most protestors' actions
if our gov't won't listen to be reasonably and peacfully, what makes anyone think they will listen to us in this manner? unfortunately as well, blood will have to be shed for this country to turn itself around/blaze a new and better path

one of my friends was in that protest, she was arrested as well - for doing nothing but sitting. even though i think that they achieved nothing as far as blocking the actual war machinery, they achieved a lot inspiring people to actually DO something. people want shit to change now, not later. i think if peaceful protests don't work, people need to pull out their sidearms and let the pigs know what's up. i hope seattle can participate in something like this

Yeah. We should buy plexiglass and make shields with it, when they shoot rubber paintballs at us we just deflect them! >:0 Then lob some molotov's, I'm telling you, those things will do wonders!

as innocent as the pigs might be in reality, it's unfortunate but some of them would have to be harmed, as well as those that will be sent after the police can't handle it, for the gov't to really get the message, that their laws are not necessarily how it is going to be
