after my jars are fully colonized how long roughly will i be expected to wait before my first flush is harvested... i understand that obviously this varies from strain to strain n what the conditions are like... the strain is golden teacher and the terrarium will be one whihc was made out of a tupperware container a large one and plexi glass for the roof and soaked perlite for humidification...
thanx for any replies...
ohh and im guessing it will be about 3 weeks.
1 until pins show up
2 for mushrooms to develop
and three for the mushrooms to reach maturity...
am i right??
oh and does any1 reccoment cold dunking?? if so how exactly do u do it withoutrisking contamination.

lol thats alot. id say give it a week for pins and then like 5 days for fruiting.

the whole time you see a mushroom develop is very very short compared to everything else.

Pins show up anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks.

Once pins develop to about an inch, they should grow fast, from that point on the longest till they mature is usaully a week.

No you generaly dont want pinning to start in the jars.

You will get much better results exposing them to the right pinning triggers.

Fresh air exhanges
Humidity
Light

I think the tek that menchions waiting for pinning in the jar is old and outdated.

Once the jar looks 100% colinised, wait 5-7 days, then remove from the jar, rinse under the tap removing as much of the dry verm layer as u can, the dunked in cold water for 24 hours, then roll in dry verm, into the fruiting chamber with humidity, mist the verm so its damp.
