safety to incubate casing??

is it safe to incubate a casing ,to allow mycelium development, outside the grow chamber, if it is in an aluminum tray covered with several layers of seran wrap with a few holes poked in it, all inside a drawer, even if it is in exposed air versus being in the terrarium in a sealed environment. or would it just be better to incubate inside the grow chamber and then drop the temp in there accordingly. i ask this only because i figure it wouldl be more of a shock for initiation of pins when you take the seran wrap off and throw it in a completely different and closed environmentinstead of just droppin the general temp in the same room.would the draw have to be at a certain rh or does the seranwrap cover take care of that itself, and without lettin contams in? if this is a silly idea please be honest hehe oh man .... just curious =P thnx
