Tripping hard on weed

If you're not able to do this, you are not using the weed to its full capacity. By that, I mean, you're not feeling it to its full capacity. You can trip without drugs as many mystics do so surely you can trip with a "weaker" drug, right? The truth about what we can experience is out there. All you have to do is recognize it. You will only recognize it though when your ability to experience different things in rapid succession without fear or revulsion extends to very high levels, when you're not afraid to penetrate deeply into things...in and out of things without apprehension.

Weed has capacity? Or do WE have the capacity to turn our experience into this? How do you determine that "tripping hard" is better than laughing your ass off at a comedy or having a long intricate discussion with a fellow stoner?

I'd say.
I think that classifying one mood that you get from weed as better than another is a form of elitism. It is a wise choice to refrain yourself from adding those labels in my opinion.

Did I say "better?" I don't think I made any value judgements. I'm just stating what is.

I used to use the terrible paranoia and anxiety weed gave me to force myself to deal with the anxiety issues I had, and swept under the rug most of the time. I figured that if weed made it come to the surface, all the better, because than I couldn't hide from it. I've never been able to use it as an escape the way some people can. I don't really smoke weed these days, once a month maybe, or I'll get on short kicks over a week. These days it mostly just makes me tired. It just ain't the thing for me.

I've had level 4 trips on pot, including time dilation, thought loops, full blown open and closed eyed visuals, synesthesia (crossing of senses), the distortions of perception where you feel as if you are a super giant, or microorganism (can't remember the technical names), etc.
Although I do seem much more sensitive to drugs than my friends.

Even on the best weed, I get a little buzz and very talkative and the affect wears off in about 20-30 minutes. No cosmic revelations, no increased appreciation of music and art, no time or visual distortion.
Hard head, I guess.

That explains so much of it!!
Actually, that would be very disappointing. I have full blown trips very frequently on weed.
**also dude you gotta inhale.....;)

If weed wasn't psychedelic I'd still do it because it's good medicine for many ails. But luckily it also helps me see the world as it is, instead of as my ego wants it to be. So it is good for the body and the soul. I've tripped hard off shitty brick weed, and I've had headies give me nothing more than a mild buzz. It's more about you than the weed. I'm starting to learn that this is true of most of our favorite compounds.

I remember the first time I smoked pot. It was nothing like I expected it to be, I must have taken 8 or 9 hits off of a very large blunt.
From all the stoner flicks I had watched, I was just expecting this extremely fun giggly high. Instead though, I experienced extreme paranoia and anxiety, full blown hallucinations, and very bad twitches. Needless to say, I got picked on pretty bad that night, I was probably 14 at the time.
I can smoke weed with close friends and enjoy myself, but it amazes me to see these stoners taking rip after rip and just being completely mellow on the couch.

It's "The Winter King" by Carol Phillips.

Edit: Or did you mean the double-labyrinth brainball that was up yesterday?
Because I made that in Microsoft Paint pixel by pixel. It makes a great tiled background.

I like looking at her pictures when I'm tripping hard on weed.
