Organic Chemistry II

16 credits total, 2 below overload :frown: can't take any other classes because of gay ass department class schedules have classes once a semester.

Don't have any time to work in labs though.... Gonna work full time in the summer though, cut up mice and shit, lol. This one phd is working on mice and how certain compounds make them fat ass bitches. So yea... might work on cancer though.

Calc 415 ( took 151, 152,153, 254)
Physics 133(I took 131 and 132)
Mechanical Engineering 410 (statics)
Biology 113

you actually want to overload?

capstone/senior thesis
organic matter & soil management
plant biology, plant biology lab
creative writing
organic chemistry II, org. chem II lab

17 credits, would have been 14 if i didnt dump my writing intensive genetics credit, fuckin damn

When I read threads like these I don't know whether I miss school, or feel glad to be done with it.

I don't have a job, college pays all the tuition, full ride for 4 years. They might give me another full ride for grad school but I want to get the fuck out of here. Prolly go to east or west coast. Fuck the midwest.

If you go for a science-related PhD, tuition will be waived anyway; and you'll get a stipend on top of that.

Well yea, that's the idea. I kinda wanna find a place that gives nanotech degrees if those are even available. I'm first gonna get my bachelors in biochem/biotech then go for a PhD prolly in chemistry.

Intro to Music
Interpersonal Communication
Major Authors: James Joyce
Modern Language Theory

The first two are for my retarded General Studies credits. I'm taking Intro to Music so I can take History of Jazz in the fall as some big name jazz guy is going to teach it.

Fuck General Studies.

General Chemistry II

It's not the greatest class selection since this is my 3rd year as a Freshman :frown: Oh transferring colleges is a drag.

nanotechnology

My college actually has a nanotechnology building with nanotech research but I don't think there's a degree.

Yea I dig, but nanotech just means small technology. So you can major in most any science discipline and get down on some nanotech research.

What do you go over in Classical Particles Fields and Matter II?

The exact description
Quote:

Electrostatic and gravitational fields, Poisson and Laplace equations, dielectric materials, magnetic fields and materials, magnetic induction, Faraday's Law.

Classical Particles Fields and Matter is a three semester course that basically covers undergraduate E&M and mechanics.

Im looking forward to learning about quantum electrodynamics. (I know feynman had alot to do with that and he is da' bomb) Of course I will have to wait for grad school for that. Nonlinear optics is a weird class for a physics grad to take... wait, are you a physics major?

I'm taking Math (easy Math for Math idiots, the class is just called "Math" I think)
Beginning Horseback riding
General Psychology
Race and Ethnic Relations
Family and Society

It's my last semester! I'm only taking 12 academic hours and since I'm finished with my major, minor and prereqs (except Math) I figured I would take a bunch of easy classes to boost my GPA (hence, the stupid sociology classes I'm taking)

No, I am an Electrical Engineer. I take physics class because I find them interesting, also to do serious optics research you need to know a lot of quantum. Im not sure how useful QED will be, but it should be interesting. The Calculus of Variations is immediately applicable. Really what I want to do is work on optoelectronics and try and design optical processors. Seems like a cool area that not many people are exploring, although we'll see.
