Bay Area ID

So i have one species to ID and one that i have not harvested, but if it is something promising i will return.

Species One (#1)

Habitat: Loose wet lawn. Plenty of green grass around.

Cap: Small brown dome

Stem: long thin fibrous

Gills: dark brown, unattached to stem.

No bruising observed. Smells like typical edible mushroom.

Spore print looks like this

Species Two (#2)

i am just wondering if this could be something worth picking once it grows a little. I dont expect a definitive answer, but i would like to know maybe how many days from the photo i should wait?

The first species is Panaeolus subbalteatus and the second is probably a Pholiota.

Awesome spore print! lol I always get very faded spore prints, probably a result of my impatience. How long did that take?

really? the two prints on the top were only about 8 hours at most and the two on the bottom were close to 24

Just making sure these are safe, here are a few more photos. I'm happy to post more if anyone needs. Is there even a slim chance these are poisonous?

i dont believe so. At the worst, they aren't going to be pan subbs, they will be pan foes, which don't do you any harm.

But print those if you still can (look dried up) and if they are black, you're good to go.

yeah, to be sure it's nice to spore print every specimen you collect...that's the definitive way to know you've got pan subbs...those LBMs can look so goddamn similar!

jet-black is good to go :captain:
