I was thinking about getting these:
http://sporeworks.com/store/catalog/Large-Presealable-Autoclavable-Gusseted-Bulk-Spawn-Bags-w-Self--p-16250.html
for my projects. Can anyone tell me how ease it is to preseal them and have then not blow up?

Not difficult.
let the autoclave fully cool down before opening, and you'll be good to go.

I think that I am going with them what a deal!
So the pre-seal thing works fine. Just roll the bag over the filter patch and then impulse for 5 sec on 5... Then plop into the PC?

Yeah but they don't have the self healing inoc hole, do they? How do you make those, just silicone?

Last question I have is how should I wrap the bag....
Before I use to wrap so that the filter patch is not exposed. Should the filter patch be exposed to allow the steam to escape?

Yes, you just put a dab of silicon on the bag next to the filter patch and you've just created a self healing injection site.

Use adhesive silicone or they will just fall off.

From Bluehelix
..."Directly against the bag, I first stick a small square patch of heavy duty duct tap--buy the good stuff. Over the duct tape I put piece of heavy duty masking tape. The duct tape alone softens in the heat of pressure cooking and will stick to the side of the cooker if pressing against it while the masking tape alone is pretty weak and doesn't stick too well directly to the bag. The two together, though, make a perfect team with the duct tape providing the heavy grade thickness and stick while the masking tape keeps the duct tape from sticking to the walls of the pressure cooker during cooking. I have used these two together for dozens of spawn bags, and it works great every time. No matter how violent I get with the kneading, I never have had the hot glue come off, although one time I actually broke open a bag because I was drunk. I have an attached picture showing what it looks like once the tape platform on the spawn bag been injected and re-sealed with hot glue."...

Only thing I am going to change is how he has his injection ports....
I am going to make a journal once I get all my ducks in a line....
I have had this hobby for many years now and can't believe how easy it is now....
What I am doing is poking and prodding through thousands of posts on the site and finding the easiest way to make fruits with little to no effort and minimal sterility
In my journals when I make them you will notice that just about everything I do is a piece of something someone else did all combined into one
