I would probably tell them where I buried all the bodies.
but I would probably just say "Tattoo's are gay" and then die.

OrgoneConclusion, the only purpose in life is to love. Love yourself, love everyone around you, and love what you are doing. No matter what it is. Death is always near, and when it comes you will feel the weight of the negligence you've accumulated in your life. The one regret people always seem to have, is that they should have loved [lived] life more.
So to sum this up... I would hope to have the personal strength on my death bed, to tell others to "Lighten up and smile, there is no need to have a heavy and burdened mind. Radiate love to all beings."

The only real wisdom I learned in my life, is that you remaining people should smoke more weed, hash, etc. etc. take more acid, shrooms, etc. etc. And don't forget ecstasy...

For this thread, let's bypass the clever and witty last words and make it something important you would really like to share with your progeny and friends.

Easy logic: Nobody commits suicide without a reason. So, what can be better to die for, fighting this reason ? Died on duty, you know

As Ram Dass pointed out decades ago, "There is only One," and as poet Edwin Arnold wrote in 'The Light of Asia,' "The Dewdrop slips into the Shining Sea," the great illusion of multiplicity dissolves into the One.
I too think that Fundamentalist Christians (and Muslims) harbor fairytale versons of an afterlife. I recommend the movie 'What Dreams May Come,' with Robin Williams to give a great illustration of such an afterlife. In that film however, it is not all peaches and cream. The Robin Williams character leaves his idyllic Heaven to rescue his wife who is langishing in Hell. It is a fairytale story for adults, with Heaven and Hell constructed from aspects of one's own life - complete subjectivity - including Hell of one's own making.
I suppose my point is that even the best 'world of form' that one could imagine as heaven, would become Hell if a human consciousness were subjected to 'existence' for 1000 years or more. Fundamentalists tend to speak of being individuals along with other individuals in some kind of Greek mythic Elysian Fields, much like Native American Happy Hunting Grounds where one imagines the best of earthly life continuing forever. Forever is not a long time, it is Eternity, a paradox of intensity and timelessness, but not eternal duration. As YHVH said to Moses: "No [Hu]man may see the face of God and live." Indeed, when the human consciousness realizes its Essential Identity with Ultimate Reality, the human individual ego dies. Only the One is eternal Fundies out there. There is NO human immortality - that is a Greek myth. Eternal Life is God Alone (All One) and only insofar as a human being realizes theosis - transformation through realization - does one 'go to Heaven.' Heaven is a spatial metaphor for BEING. God is a personal metaphor for BEING. Or, as the World English Bible puts it about God:
"...who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see..." - 1 Timothy 6:16
Only BEING, Pure Identity, the "I AM" of the Old Testament which Iesus identifies as the true Self is 'immortal.' Fundies however misunderstand the revelation of Iesus as pertaining only to Iesus' own identity. What is true for Iesus is true for everyone. Human individuality perishes, so everyone needs to adopt the Boy Scout motto and "Be Prepared." I AM that Light, and so are YOU!
Peace and Happy Thanksgiving!

Fact is the condition of your dying could well have something to do with your last words. Dying in pain could alter all the niceties in this thread.
