Please follow the rules of this forum. If you do not edit your post in a day or so I will close it. All caps is quite offensive to the eye and connotate yelling in this context.
Most birdseed around here is predominantly millet, not sorghum (milo). It is a potentially good substrate, depending on the source There is information on sorghum in TMC and GGMM, I will look it up tomorrow and post the info. Have a good day

Milo is great, as a whole grain that is. Never used it as a flour. A little easier to work with than millet, it doesn't burst as easily. Not as many innoculation points as millet, but most home cultivators use such high spawn rates as to make a pro jealous, we don't really need more innoculation points. The spherical shape also looks really cool, especially in large bags of spawn.
Around here, namebrand birdseed is mostly millet, generic birdseed is mostly milo. Both are available seperately at specialty stores.
-------------------- "From a certain point of view" -Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi PM me with any cultivation questions. I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.
