Never made a spore syringe before, but want to do it. I have a good print just waiting. Would there be any pros/cons to using a weak karo solution (2%) in the spore syringe? Looking to inoc. some pf tek jars.

The spores in the syringe of karo solution would germinate and start growing mycelium (but it would take atleast 3 days), thus making it an LC, which kinda has its advantages as it would colinise jars alot faster. Bear in mind that it could take at least a week to have any decent LC growth.
But it would be kind of a waste of spores since from that spore print a tiny scraping into LC would produce many many syringes.
If u just want to make a syringe for inocing jars, then no need to use karo, just sterilised syringe with water.

I've already made 2 300cc LC jars. whether they make it or not I'll find out in another 4-5 days. My thought on this is the weak sugar may benefit the PF jar? I use my PF jars for casing (my grain jars have failed miserably can't get the moisture right, but I'm cool with that, the BRF cakes inoc. my Hpoo compost just fine) Once I figure out how to control contams, I'll be slapping ass. Which is why I want info. on the sugar water spore syringes.

you can use the search for the info on sugar water i dont know of any benifits that will have unless you let it culture all in all that is the key to what you seem to be looking for ,fast colonisation to beat contams and enough culture to ennoc a shit load of jars / sub

Not neccesarily fast colonization but strong colonization, but is there a difference? Where's RR

You will effectively be making a LC so it will only have the positive effects that innoculating with any LC have, and also the storing disadvantages that LCs have
