RR's rye tek q's?
    #7651356 - 11/18/07 03:25 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

i was just wondering if there is a disadvantage to using decaf coffee. i am running very low on regular coffee, and my room mates are very opposed to me using the last of it for mushrooms, and i've got little time to go get more at the moment as i'm trying to get this done asap, i need to get this g2g transfer done... i'm using half regular coffee and half decaf coffee. will this cause any problems? or is it nutrients that are in the coffee itself, not just the caffeine?

I don't think it should make too much difference, but you could always go to a gas station/ quickie mart and get some.

I doubt caffeine is the catalyst for the increased growth with coffee. However, coffee is completely optional anyway. It will give a boost, but it won't halve colonization times or anything that dramatic.
