hey you guys... worldcom just filed for bankruptcy, which means the stock market is gonna crash like a motherfucker tomorrow. biggest company bankrupcy ever in the us. last time we had a depression, alcohol was forced to be legalized again to boost the nation?s economy. why? because it was being sold illegally, therefore not taxed. sound familiar? maybe this is the depression potheads needed to get mary jane legalized, sold in kwikie marts around the country with junk food (where it belongs) and taxed. hey, taxes beat looking over your shoulder and paying some thug drug dealer. maybe even shrooms?? lemme hear you.

Worldcom filed for bankrupcy a while ago and the stock market has already been goin in the shitter. If many more companies start comin out sayin that they lied about their profits, then we are screwed.

no, not exactly...
worldcom released info not long ago that it is in financial trouble, the market has been declining because of all the companies lying about shit. worldcom only just filed for bankruptcy TODAY and the people on the news said watch out for the market tomorrow, it?s gonna be shit. some moron came on begging people not to sell. it was pathetic. "even though it may seem like a good idea to sell, think long term" bla bla bla basically, the more people sell, the worse it will be. and people will SELL. how does this affect us?? well think of all this money being the base of all the money the middle class has. if the base collapses, we?re fucked. noone will hire, etc etc. well, we?ll see... but let?s get back to drugs. i was watching the news and nevada will be voting in the fall whether or not to legalize up to THREE OUNCES of pot in possession. nevada already has gambling and prostitution (no prostitution in vegas, just the rest of the state) and polls showed if the vote was held today, it would be legalized in a landslide. news said the ONLY PEOPLE opposing legalization is COPS. (yes, republicans wanna legalize it too!!) why cops?? because they get cash every time they bust some poor stoner and if it would be legalized they would have less funds and would actually have to go after real crooks. let?s hope other states follow in nevada?s footsteps. IF nevada legalizes it, then in my opinion other states wouldnt have a choice because of the huge revenue that would be generated. (everyone would be flocking to nevada, think the us?s amsterdam. whores and weed.) nevada?s travel beureu would be rich! other states would want a piece of the pie. people, we may see the legalization of pot in our lifetimes after all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marijuana is up for legalization in Nevada. I posted about it in OTD. Go to yahoonews, and do a search for "nevada marijuana" you'll get some news stories on it. Crazy shit.

Think of how much revenue gambling and shit creates...all the states havent started making gambling legal. We have it in Oklahoma because the indians are allowed to operate casinos, but its only slot machines that cant pay out cash. And some places have blackjack tables that can only be open 3 days a week.
