I like to roll the perfect j. I mean, I put some time into it.. making it clean you know - nice and cylindrical.. pleasing to the optical.. feeling that it's tangible.. courageously fanatical and I wonder why it matters so much [so much!] to me I mean, in the end it's burned down to the clip and then what?
-- you finish the rhyme.
edit: I just finished my first rendition of this rhyme - now availble in mp3 format.
it goes out to the bitches that made fun of me.. enjoy! On Rolling Joints

Rolling joints is great in moderation.
Those joints can sneak up on you though.
But I think you have too much time on your hands.
edit: what I want to say instead is, I think you can do better with your time and talent.

I can't roll a joint to save my life. I've come to the conclusion that it's physically impossible and any time someone actually does it they're actually performing an illusion.
Thank gawd for my vap.

what is it about stoners that makes them take pride in how they roll a joint? Its as bad as beer drinkers taking pride in how quick they can down a pint.

I'm more of a blunt man, I have never met anybody who can roll even nearly as good as I can in my life. I love rolling sooo much, it's like art to me. I won't smoke a blunt unless it's PERFECT. It's a great feeling to perfectly roll a joint or blunt and then smoke it.

.. because believe it or not some people like smoking a nicely rolled joint instead of something resembling a soggy tampon. So its actually more like a beer drinker not wanting to drink warm Miller out of a plastic bowl.

No no no, that is bullshit. My joints burn perfectly right to the end and i never use a crutch EVER. When it gets too small i snuff it out and save it for a bowl. If the weed is insanely dank, i'll just put tobacco at the end so it'll soak up some of that sticky res so your lips don't get nasty.

You can have perfect airflow without a crutch, it's called a crutch because its for disabled people who cannot roll a smokable joint without one IMO.

joint w/ crutch = harder to roll than one w/o a crutch.
Terrible point.
I've smoked great joints with or with out a crutch. But I've found a crutch to really seal the deal on a great spliff, and to be one of the last steps to rolling skill next to I/O rolling.

I love rollen em. I go through a pack a week. Rolled my first 16 years ago now out of a receipt. I have gone through phases. From perfect== to cones with crutches. I like a light taper. I roll maybe a bowl pack with a pinch of tobacco.
I also hate when people can't roll them, or say they can't. Now a novice is a novice, but i expect all smokers to know how to roll em.
The girl of my dreams rolled a 7 gram hash spliff with 5 papers. Made it tight and perfect. She was an artist when it came down to it.

Hold it tighter, work from the outside in or the inside out. Keep an even pressure and work the paper round, Never loosen up on the paper. It becomes mechanical after some time. When you go to lick it, keep everything in place and keep your fingers tight on it. Then give a little roll to stick it.

Yea those rizlas are real nice i agree with that. I prefer the regular zig zag king size though, it is thicker than those rizlas but not too thick and the gum is always perfect.

Thanks man, I'll have to try it out tonight with a spliff. I think that may have been my problem, I had no tobacco. I know it's not necessary, but whatever. I was using a roach too, I like it better that way. I was getting some alright hits but it was burning quick because it was pretty loose.

I hate it when people brag about stuff like this..not important, depends upon physical abilities = trivial.
For rolling joints, I really like the joker hemp papers. I tear a little strip off the paper to save lungs and help make it easier to roll. I try to grind the weed until it's loose but still has some spring to it. The I crease and fill the paper with herb about 3/4 I suppose. Then when I roll it, I try to use my thumbs and mouth, that helps alot - using your lips to hold the paper and tighten it up. Then I stick a paper roach in the end. This is good for several reasons. The roach condenses the smoke and makes it less harsh, it helps to keep weed from flying into your lungs, you can hold it like a cigarette, no need for roach clips, and another thing I really like is that it makes it easier to roll. When you roll a joint, the weed tends to fall out of place in the ends, making an uneven joint. But if you insert a roach and lighty pack it, then it's nice and tight and even. If you really want a perfect marijuana cigarette, get one of those cigarette packing systems and fill them with weed. Then take out the filter and put a roach in the end.
Other good things is don't be nervous and slow about it, and don't forget to spread out the weed evenly in the paper. When you finally roll and lick it, don't thumb it on the ends so that it pushes in the middle and you get a pregnant joint.
I don't really have any fascination with joints other than ease of use and health (supposedly better than pipes). If I could afford a vape or to eat I would be doing that.
