Reverend guitars

so i picked up a reverend warhawk II HB and lemme tell you, this thing fucking rips!! you could pay 3k for a gibson that sounds this good man I swear to fucking god. Im playing it through a crate 33. anybody else believe in the good word of reverend guitars?

I have heard only good things about Reverends. They really talk them up over at the forums at Harmony Central.

They're nice for their price, but don't go comparing them to $3k Gibsons.

The best sounding guitar I've heard for <$1k is the Les Paul BFG w/ P-90s for sure.

Reverends are nice. I'd definitely prefer one over a Les Paul too. Not to bash all Gibsons but I'm not a fan of Les Pauls. Don't get me wrong, I'm the proud owner of a 1976 Les Paul Deluxe.


I don't play it anymore. The neck is too thin, and the tone just seems bland since I started playing a hollow body Ibanez artcore. In its defense I used to love Les Pauls. But I don't think I'll ever use a Les Paul or a Strat as my main guitar. They seem kind of.. default? a little boring. I dunno.

boneman, i have that exact same guitar. 1976 les paul custom deluxe with clear coat finish. :smile:

now i play a strat style that i built.
