Well, just thought I'd share with you.

One patch straight out of the bag.

Everyone drying out.

I found the really big and healthy patch after getting lost in a park and deciding "fuck it, probably won't find anything but better than not looking".

I left a ton of adolescent guys, so I'll have to go back tomorrow and get some more.

Is it alright if I let the crummier looking ones dry next to the healthy ones? They won't like spread anything will they?

Give it a bit longer.  Say, 3 days at least.  Let them fill out and drop some spores.

COOOTIIIIEEES!!!!!! :argh:

No really...  As long as they don't have bugs, it should be fine to dry them next to one another.

Cuties?

Thanks curecat.

I only asked because some cyans I picked a while ago that looked healthy fresh turned black upon drying so I threw 'em out. =(

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus.
All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the
octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV.
But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns.
Also he got a race car.
Is any of this getting through to you?

I just moved up here a few weeks ago, catching the ass end of the season. Well, I grew up 15 miles from seattle but never hunted. After HS I moved to Iceland, then Guam, now I'm back in Seattle and enjoying my first fantastic hunting season.

And thanks man, I love Seattle, not just because of all the crazy fungii.

those are some premium cyanescens...they look straight-up tasty!

seattle gets more and more and more appealing every single day.
