I am almost sure that these are A.muscaria but I dont see the concentric rings on the left fruit. The spore print is white. Hmmmmmm?
They were all growing together under some conifers in a very rich and soft substrate.
Do you think that they are muscaria?

Looks like Amanita muscaria. Looks like enough to make two people sick.

No no no, you will need 7 fresh caps each to make us sick.
Sorry for poking fun at the person that did eat those seven caps. I am glad that you survived.

I fried some in a pan with butter last weekend and fed it to curecat, it took about one tenth of a cap to make her sick. I ate the same amount and didn't feel sick, just extra tired.
They were delicious, btw.

I have never eaten them before, but i am not really too into the thought of consuming them. They are just really pretty. I also just want to be better at IDing them.

I know someone who picked one, not knowing what it was, then brought it home to take a picture of it. She left it on her back porch in a flower pot, and her dog ate it! (don't worry the dog survived.)
