The Ethnobotany prof invited me to a lecture she is giving on hallucinogens today! Exciting!

In WI. Don't want to go into specifics (though you could figure it out from that if you really looked).

What a class! Excellent lecture, and I got a chance to talk about Ayahuasca a bit for the class! It was excellent to hear a college professor talk about psychedelics in a positive light. She didn't so much discourage their use, but discouraged recreational use. Very appropriate and refreshing.

After the lecture we went to a lab and someone who travels to Mexico quite frequently brought in Coffee and Cocoa beans from a Co-op he frequents there and we got to fresh roast coffee and chocolate, and made some delicious chocolates! One batch we put in bananas, hazelnuts, almonds, milk, cinnamon and a whole vanilla bean. The other we used milk and cayan pepper. I'm so jacked up on caffeine right now, lol. I'm definitely looking forward to picking up that Ethnobotany minor next semester.

Man, that's awesome. I'm really happy for you.

My ethnobotany professor was an incompetent bumbleface that should have been out of teaching 15 years ago. I got less than nothing out of the class, as I had to actively correct her on numerous concepts of which she'd spout feebly and\or incorrectly to keep her from 'teaching' misinformation. Yeesh.

But I'm really happy for you. Do you know if anyone recorded the lecture? How was attendance?
