Be sure to see Beowulf in 3D

I recently bought a ticket to see Beowulf 3D. The ticket costed a little more, but came with these glasses with polarized lenses that you get to keep. First off, I have to say, I compared it alot with 300. People turned off about the homoeroticism in 300 should know that Beowulf kills Grendel (it's not a spoiler if it's in a hundreds years old poem, right?) in a "spooning" type attack, while both men are fully nude.

To counter-balance this thought I just forced inside your head, consider Angelina Jolie comepletly nude. Full frontal, back... This also happens in the film, so be sure to buy the 3D glasses!

Yes, suprisingly, the film is especially rife with nudity, sexual jokes and jiggling boobs for being rated PG-13. These scenes seem to be the paste that glues all the battle scenes together.

This movie is entirely CGI. And it seems they made it specifically tailored to a 3D audience. If it weren't for the suspention of disbelief brought on by such an engaging experience, I wonder if I would have been as engrossed throughout the film as I had. It made use of the perspective of mirrors being deep. It showed elements or fire and water very well. Items were thrown at the audience, making it for a very "interactive" experience (IE, the person to my right gasped multiple times/shrieked a few)

Go see Beowulf, but be sure to see it in 3D. You're missing out on what the directer made it for if you don't. I'm already planning on seeing it again, this time stoned.
