so I've learned alot from this site and doing my own, failed, success, all that. now, its time to stop buying pre made things. on yea, time to save money huh lol
well, i plan on using a pressure cooker. so all you experts help out.
i will be doing quart jars and what not, maybe bags at time, trying to pressure up to 5 pound bags so heres the deal.
i don't want to use a stove, so one i want to use an electric one.
bad idea or not.
also.
for a starter how's these features
Wolfgang Puck 5-Quart Electric Pressure Cooker Includes:
Serving spoon and rice scoop Plastic storage lid for removable pot Tempered glass lid Pressure cooker lid with handle Cooking pot Steaming/cooking rack Preset programs for rice, meat, vegetables, soup and stew Mirror-polished exterior Rice measuring cup Detachable power cord User manual with recipes Product Features:
Made of aluminum, steel and plastic Adjustable pressure regulator from 12-15 PSI Locking mechanism in handle Digital display - function, time, delay time, keep warm and cancel functions Temperature indicator lights - when the timer has expired, the cooker automatically switches to the "keep warm" function - the warm indicator light will then illuminate Side handles 6 feet on the bottom for stability Removable, nonstick aluminum cooking pot ETL listed Measures approx. 12-3/4"L x 11-3/4"W x 11-1/2"H
oh goodness, time for more and more learning.

So an electric stove or electric cooking plate? As long as it makes it up to pressure or temp won't matter.

All American 25X. Check eBay. They're expensive, but worth every penny.

I use the All American 921, which is the a 21.5QT stovetop version. They're pretty much built like tanks. The machine work is very nice.
