Are my B+ jars in the right place?

Wondering if my jars are in the wrong place - they're in a big Thermos Cooler that you use for picnics .. should I take them out and expose in room air?

If you are incubating them to allow the mycelium to colonize your substrate, then you may want to leave them inside a container that maintains a temperature higher than the ambient air. Sealed jars do not need FAE during colonization for cubensis so far as I know.
(as you probably know, cubensis mycelium grows more quickly at slightly higher temps... around 80-86 degrees F)

:peace:

Build an incubater (i use tub in tub). After I got mine my times for a jar to finish colonizing dropped a lot.

Yeah, there is a whole section in the main site that deals with different designs for incubators... I'd suggest checking it out if you haven't already. Though without looking at it I can tell you that many people prefer to use some version of the Tub in Tub method. (one tub inside another, the outer tub contains water and an aquarium heater to cause heat to radiate evenly into the inner tub - which contains the colonizing jars/bags/whatever)

no you do not need a incubator, just leave them in that container at room temp, and you will have no worries unless they get any contams
