Terry Goodkind Sword of Truth series

i am on book 6 out of 7 so far of the sword of truth series. anyone who likes a good fantasy book, should give terry goodkind a try. but go in order, as it is a ever evolving story line. start with " wizards first rules" this has to be my favorite fantasy series besides tolken

If you like him you would love Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Talk about character evolution!!!!

Hell yeah! I am on the third book of the Wheel of Time series right now actually! I made a post in this forum about it a while ago...
Jordan is an EXCELLENT author... He delves deeper into his characters than any other writer I have ever read. When I finish this series I think I am going to check out the Sword of Truth series, as I love the genre and have heard good things about that series from others as well.

Give Wheel of Time a try though if you haven't already!

HAHA. I must be such a geek. I have read the whole wheel of time series three times. I can't wait for the last book to come out. I have only read the Sword of Truth series twice.

Hey chromey. small world huh? I love Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. I haven't read the newest book yet. I heard it came out a month ago or so. Aes Sedai rule!!!!

I got to book 4 of the Wheel and I had to quit reading it halfway through. Not that it wasn't great but I read them in a row. no break, no other books, just wheel of time for about 3500 pages. I need to start again and catch up though. I have been a fan of Jordan's since his older Conan books. I always knew he was the best Conan author besides L. Sprague DeCamp and Howard himself. His Conan Chronicles are excellent also. And yes I am a Conan geek also.

And a select few such as Elaida.

I LOVE the Wheel of Time series!!!!! I am in the middle of book five right now... It just keeps getting bigger and better!!!!!

I bet none of you guys have ever read the Dragonlance Chronicles and all the sequels that follow TWO TIMES!!! Hahahaha... I am the geek!

Damn No I don't even think I read all the sequals to the Dragonlance. BUT I have read Piers Anthony's Incarnation's of Immortality series at least 3 times. I know I have read Satan's For Love of Evil 4 times. In my younger years before I started reading King and Koontz I was a Piers Anthony fan. Then I got a little older and started reading horror. Now I read anything but I will always have a soft spot for fantasy.

Wheel of Time makes Sword of Truth look like shit. I hated those novels.. Gah. WoT was SO much better.. I cant wait for Crossroads of Twilight.. Also try reading A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin and A Song of Fire and Ice by RR Martin.. They blow SoT out of the water.

when does crossroads come out???? I have looked for a date but can't find one. The thing that sucks about WoT is that he takes solong to write his books. I have spent years waiing on him to come out with the next ones. when he does i start the whole series over.
