Is it just me, or does this game fucking blow? I don't see how everything can give it a good review. Everyone's all caught up with the amazing graphics and the fact that you can run everywhere via rooftop that they forgot to include how shitty the game play is in the review.

I decided it was weird when they used the title song from House for one of their commercials. Didn't work at all.

I've been hearing mixed reviews...I'll definitely play it, but maybe this one is a renter?
How disappointing...I was really looking forward to this game.

that was a massive attack song long before it was the theme song for house.

EGM has been giving bad reviews for creed for a while now. Personally im more excited for mass effect and rock band, with more emphasis being placed on rock band (drums baby!).

I went to a buddies and watched him play a little while I read. It was repetitive, dull, and extremely boring to watch - I didn't even ask for the sticks. Oh well, didn't even know about it until a few days ago too so I don't really care - on the other hand my other friend got budokai 3, and I love those games

fuck yeah. I've played drums since the 6th grade. I'm excited about Rock Band having an electric kit (a VERY simple one).
I hope there are games that focus on the drums, or at least some type of mode that would let you freestyle. The kit seems too simple though. One pad for some type of cymbal, on pad for the snare, two toms, and the kick pedal.
I wonder how responsive it is. I read in the statements the makers say if you can really play drums then you can play expert mode... but it looks really flimsy and cheap to be exact.
I guess we'll see Tuesday.

I've always just lived in apartments and I didn't want to be the asshole who plays a drumset in an apartment.
I was going to get a set to put in the basement here, until I found out it floods every time it rains, and the basement is fucking nasty. I've scrubbed the basement down a few times, with bleach and cement cleaner I nabbed from work, but it never did any good b/c it just floods and gets nasty after every rain. and looks like I'm going back to an apt in a couple months.
I have guitars out the ass though... and a bad ass Line 6 amp. I'm just excited about a game that incorporates drums.

full rock band kit which includes guitar, drums, and microphone, is 170 plus tax. In jan of 08 you can buy the drums separately for 80 bucks.
My buddy who drums played the demo and said it's pretty damn accurate. The only difference is you don't get to choose from an array of cymbals and toms, you just have the one pad for each. If it's as much fun as playing the guitar is and it can teach you to play some beats i'd be pretty happy with it.
