It's talking about mushrooms. Jesus was a mushroom.

Those are some really interesting observations, enter! You know, I hadn't opened my Bible for a really long time until I met you on these boards.
I took a look at those passages you posted, and your observations do indeed seem to be correct ones! In each of those passages it mentions the tearing of the veil (in my Bible it uses the word curtain instead of veil) of the temple directly after the death of Jesus. This is definitely an important metaphor, especially (like you said) the fact that it was a big eye-opener.
One of the dictionary definitions of veil is something that conceals or blocks our view from seeing behind
Immediately after Jesus breathed his last breath, a veil was torn. People's eyes were opened to something, that until then, had been hidden from view. Again, very interesting observations, enter!

Oh, I definitely agree... I was just trying to crack a joke; I wasn't speaking literally. Cracking jokes usually doesn't go well for me though... I should try to stay away from that

"......activate" the spirit of mankind within versus "activating" the body of mankind as perhaps sexual stimulation, fine foods, beer, would do. Mushrooms arouse us spiritually and psychologically.".........Hey there Enter, well I must say that I personally find that shroomies tend to stimulate me in a sexual sense in a way that alcohol/fine food never would.....that's just me of course but I think sometimes WE tend to generalize based on our own subjective experience.......I'n not saying that psilocybin doesn't stimulate mt spirit/psyche as well though.......

"I'm not saying my soldier hasn't tried to salute on mushrooms" Now now Enter! That kind of potty talk might be tolerated(and even encouraged) at OTD but we'll have none of it around here

Sorry, didn't mean to offend, but I was actually half serious. Somebody posted a link a while ago..."mushrooms and mankind"...it was all about how mushrooms are very woven into religion...I think that at one point it said that Jesus could have been the amanitas muscaria. And it does make sense when you think about it. I don't actually know enough about it to have a real opinion though.
