BIG Problems? BIG Help!

Just very quickly I would like to explain my theory of problems. When you have a problem it usually stems from something deeper and bigger. So, go ahead and somehow find out within your self the BIG problem you have. Ex. I don't like being fat (problem 1), also I cannot get girls looking this way (problem 2), and I am always hungry (problem 3). Ok, all fairly small problems, right? One answer, stop being scarred of success. That was my quick situation, but there are many more stuations in which people just need to look a little deeper at what is really bothering them to solve just about anything in life.

alright maybe that was a bad example, all i am trying to say is that you can solve all of your problems with one answer, just find out what is holding you back from within....lol

finding a seemingly suitable answer, though, my tendency is to put it into words and intellectualize it. usually there is no one answer or one problem, in my opinion; there is thought, emotion, memory and the arisal of novel situations, and the process of healing and being in the now is organic.

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

True. Usually "problems" arise withing ourselves when there's a gap between our fixated thoughts and the flux of reality. The bigger the gap, the bigger the problem. Once we start realizing what we're doing wrong, it can turn into a good exercise for change.

Look beyond what's near you. think about your purpose as a human being and understand your place on this planet. Get your mind right and your body will play catch up. IMO
-------------------- Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time TRANSCEND

My point is that problems spawn more problems! Okay, so what I do is look at what caused all these problems to happen and fix all of them by going to the source. Not sure if this is making sense to anyone but it makes my life much easier.
I also know that problems have their purpose, I mean if it weren't for these problems I wouldnt have been able to fix them and get to the point where I am now, without problems....lol, i have a new problem, I don't have any new problems causing me to be very bored with life.lol
Very confusing stuff, shed light please!

I must say the creative reasoning of this amuses me.
If you didn't have problems then you wouldn't have any reason to fix them. We survive our problems or not. They aren't necessarily put there purposefully for our growth. It's survival man.

Hmm, so in your opinion "problems" have a predetermined role? I think not, it's only your own meaning. I prefer to see them as chances in learning to think right in order to see a resolution, to know my fears and correct as much as I can from them and I also learned that I can as well stop considering them "problems" if I decide to consider everything from another point of view.

I understand all of this. I'm just confronting the fact that I don't always follow that advice and still consider things "problems". I wish I didn't, but there you have it.:(

I feel you. The anxiety can be such a burden.
I'm really stressed about registering for classes for next semester, among other things. It's killing me.

It isn't that that's killing you, it's your internal conflicted self.
If you can be clear on what you want and are willing to go for that then it all starts to smooth out. Usually we are worried about what others want and our insecure desire to appease them and still get what we want.
