He does run ads, radio (both terrestrial & satellite), television, & newspaper, because he is extremely well funded by his informed and ambitious supporters. Let me ask you something, for once in your life can you vote with your heart and mind and not just one of them? If so, then your vote may actually be of value to humanity and our planet.

I saw him at 6% in a poll yesterday, where front-runners Romney/Huckabee are 25/21 respectively.

His web site reports him to be at 8% in NH, ahead of Thompson and tied with mccain... and saying that they're buying more radio space.
New Hampshire, I think, is the first primary. People can ignore Ron Paul all they want and refuse to report about him in the media... but once he bites off a HUGE chunk of the pie in NH (even if he doesn't win), it'll be hard fore people to ignore him.
He's been on Leno and is gaining more ground
but still... until CNN starts talking abot him more.. it's gonna be tough

Most professional gambling sites put him anywhere from 11 to 1 all the way up to 6 to 1 odds. (I may have these backwards, I'm not a gambler...) I didn't notice your name up there anywhere. I think he has a much better chance of winning than you do, especially since you aren't even running (as far as I can tell).
That being said, he chances are pretty slim, but improving.
Honestly I doubt Ron Paul will win.. BUT I would probablh give him better odds than Obama (or any other democrat that ISNT hillary)
Paul needs a spot on the Daily Show or MTV

I dont see how you can say that.
The fact is, while Obama may be trailing in the polls now, those first few caucuses will make the polls irrelevant very quickly.
Do you remember what John Kerry was at in the polls before the New Hampshire caucus last election? Well under 10%, thats for sure. He wasn't a front-runner by anyone's imagination. All you need is a caucus win to make you look legitimate.
I would think someone like you, who claims that Ron Paul has a shot would say that someone who is a similar, but better position does not.

Was that before's Dean's WOoOOOoOOOOOO speech?
I ended up voting for Nader in the last election, but I was swinging towards Dean a year prior (and I RARELY stand behind democrats). I thought it was ridiculous and unfair how the media took that fiery speech and made it out like he was a mad man. I saw nothing wrong with it.
Nowdays I can't stand Dean. He's ripe with sore-loserism

I'm just saying nothing is decided now, and to say Hillary has it locked up is no less ridiculous than saying Guliani or Romney do as well.

fair enough... but we're just bullshitting.. talking odds as the way things are right now. Don't take what we're saying so seriously.
Just hypothetically speaking if today was your last day to make a bet on who was going to be president
I'd put guliani and hilary as top dogs... 3:1 maybe 4:1
Romney i'd put in close maybe 5:1
Obama, Mccain, Paul, Edwards I'd all throw as maybe 10:1
If I owned a casino and someone put a penny on Kucinnich and he won.. id'give the person the deed to the whole damn casino

Mccain is by far my favorite Republican in the field.
Too bad the base hates him.

I don't like him because of McCain/Feingold. I also think he's a bit of a pussy on immigration (as is Bush) and flogging Democrats (as is Bush). Too nice to be President.

What would you think about a Colin Powell candidacy?
He's said repeatedly he wont do it. But I'd probably vote for him if he ran. Not in 08, obviously.
But the next one...

I think he's too much the diplomat. I want an advocate as president, not necessarily someone who sees the other side's position except as a point for leverage.

Its amazing that McCain actually thought he could win the GOP nomination after co-authoring an amnesty bill with Ted Kennedy and an anti-free speech bill with Feingold......
I despise the man.
