fungicide in vermiculite?

hey guys,
i got 2 bags of verm. diffrent brand than the 1 i usually use. ive tried a set of 12 jars, all pftek, diffrent syringes (which all worked in the past) and they did nothing in 9 days. i made a total new batch and its the 3rd day and stil nothing. they look VERY tight, but i didnt pack them, this vermiculite has LOTS of dust in it and is like cement. u think its that or is it a fungicide in it?

I am guessing you have an error in your jar preperation or sterilization procedures.
