Each jar should be able to inoculate approximately 10 jars of equal volume. And yes, do be cautious if it is your first grain-to-grain, be prepared for trouble as it is a moderately risky operation until you get the hang of it.
Good luck!

whats the difference of having connected gloves to your glove box VS. holes and just wearing gloves....im seeing both models everywhere on here. i usually just lysol the bathroom and get good results with LC.....would a glovebox eliminate most contams when doing the transfer?

use a glovebox..
the difference on is a glovebox, the other a still air box.
either would help. the still air box still has some risk tho

A glove box, or still air box, either is highly recommended if not required for grain transfers. Although you might not have a lot of problems with needle-sized holes with other procedures, you are going to be opening things wide open for this, you may find yourself unnecessarily frustrated by the increased contaminations.
Personally I find "real" glove boxes, with the gloves attached, to be exceptionally cumbersome and annoying to work with. You should have fine results just using a "still air" box, without gloves attached. My setup is basically a still air box, but I have tyvek sleeves attached to the open holes, which adds an extra layer of protection against unwanted drafts making their way into the box. I have found this to be the best of both worlds, ample freedom of movement and good still air interior.

got it,
the farm supply store where i get my syringes also has those artificial incimination gloves.....those ones that go up your whole arm.
i dont see why it wouldnt work.
working with the glove box in a steralized bathroom would eliminate most comtams that would float into the arm holes while working.
-thanks guys.

Yes, those long thin plastic gloves are excellent. I might add though that they are not very strong, I have seen them arrive in poor shape and you should inspect them thoroughly prior to use. They are thin enough that you might consider using two layers of them, this doesn't affect dexterity much and will significantly reduce the chance of trouble due to small defects, if you feel concerned about it.
