Cubensis on Long Island?

I have been around mushrooms for a few years now. I have cultivated several types of mushrooms have seen many different types. I have a friend on long island who sent me a pix message on my cell phone of four of what appeared to be cubensis mushrooms. He lives on a horsefarm and made the discovery next to where they pile all the manure. Some of the fresh manure falls behind the giant cement wall and lands on the dirt/grass everyday year round. The temperature on the island has been in the low 50's at night to upper 50's in the day with plenty of rain and humidity. Although these conditions are not ideal for cubensis they appear to be growing he sent several more pictures which all seem exactly like cubensis. I know a poor quality picture is not best in determining what kind of mushroom it is. I had him run through some tests to fill in as much information as he could about them because im out of town until friday. I'll try to put in as much info as i can till i can get down there so you guys can try to make an ID. I just wanted opinions on whether it would be possible.
Habitat: Heavily manured soil (unatural heat source from air vent keeping temp well above outside temp)
Gill color: Veil's had not yet broken will know on friday
Cap: He said there appeared to be two very similar types growing about 5 feet apart one with a dark brown and the other with a more yellish brown
Bruising: Blue
Location: Eastern Long Island
Sorry I can not do better until friday I will have some good digital camera pictures and spore print colors. I have seen wild cubensis growing in Florida several times and these mushrooms bear a striking resemblence to them. He estimated that there are between 500-600 mushrooms growing behind the cement wall.

I'm curious to find out... I wonder if the feed has spores transplanted from a southern climate. I can't imagine they would blow around and end up there by chance, but it could happen I guess.
You should go visit and gather them up for study.

Goooooodness. that would be the shit. Possible for spores to be transported there several different ways and with artificial conditions it's very possible for the to grow. Looking forward to seeing pics.

if it bruises an obvious blue then it may be but i doubt it all the way up there... could be a different psilocybe species, it is rare to find cubensis grow naturally on horse manure even in the southeast even though they are home cultivated with it
