Arguably the greatest college football rivalry this saturday

You guessed it The Ohio State University and Michigan University. OSU should kick some ass. I mean we did lose to Illinois but they are no Appalachian State. Anyone going to the game? Be in Ann Arbor? I will be celebrating starting tomorrow night by jumping in Mirror Lake. For those of you who do not know its an OSU tradition to jump in this 'lake' on the Thursday of Michigan week.
I have some friends going up to Ann Arbor for the game and they will be sporting scarlet and grey.

Florida-Florida State and Florida State-Miami both own all. In the nineties, especially, they tapered off the last few years because of Jeff Bowden. I predict a turn around next year, when we can fucking execute, cos the playcalling is pretty good, I think.

Dude, I know you're from Florida, but there's no way. One and a half decades does not make something a better rivalry. If anything the only three that compete are Navy-Army, the Red River Shoot-out, and the Bama-Auburn game.
And oh yeah, Mirror Lake is gonna be fucking COLD tomorrow night!

In terms of the skill and competition, 25 years of college ball in Florida owns 100 years in the Mid West. Wide Right I: Miami went on the to National Championship. Wide Right II: Miami went to the NC, lost to Bama Wide Right III: Miami doesn't go to the Orange Bowl, though ranked second in the AP and Coaches' Poll (stupid BCS) Wide Left I: Miami has an undefeated season, gets screwed in the Fiesta
Most absurd stat I've ever seen: 1987 Miami-Florida game had 50 future NFL players on the field.
"History" to a rivalry just means it's been played a long time, not that it was worth anything. Navy-Army is like watching a high school game. Last year was a helluva game, though. Too bad UF had to go ahead and mercilessly rain shit on OSU's parade, two months later
I like the Iron Bowl though it hasn't been that much to speak of in a while. Red River Shootout for years has been a blowout by either team for a while, last year's was just anemic all around, though.

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its the best college football rivalry to me, b/c, lets face it, as a midwewsterner, I could give a shit about the south, as I am sure the south feels the same about the Big Ten.

High of 45 low of 31. Mirror Lake will not be warm. I'm thinking it will be colder than last year.

Yea I don't understand how you can say history has nothing to do with a rivalry that's ludicrous. Just because florida and miami both had sweet teams at one point doesn't make it a major rivalry. One of the major factors in a rivalry in my oppinion is utter hatred for the oher team. I've never see or experienced hatred in college fotball like OSU vs. Michigan. I mean I don't recall anyone rioting after a miami vs. florida game ever. That's great miami and florida were both sweet in the 90's and had close games but don't try and build a rivalry out of it, interstate rivalrys FTL.
Jew: sorry I opened my mouth man it got cold as balls as soon as I said somethin we got snow here in dayton today.

So right disturbed.. even if you are an ohio ass hole. You see they way we see it in michigan is yes ohio is our neighbor, but if you ask me what boarders Mi i would tell you Wisconsin, Indiana, Canada, and ASSHOLES. I once saw a frat kid throw a football at this guy that was walking alone in an OU jersy the day of the game down frat row in A2. He never saw it coming and it just drilled him in the face, and knocked him over. He was going to try and start shit with who did it (the guy that threw was on the 2nd floor mind you) but he decided he couldnt fight the whole frat house so he took the football and ran away. Three dipshit frat guys caught up with him 3 blocks down and dog-pield him. Man was he fucked up.
Remeber Ohio and Michigan even had a war back in the day. Both states millitias clashed in a dispute over the toledo strip. The Ohio assholes won the toledo strip (468 sq miles of swamp.) And Michigan was given the upper penensula (16452 sq miles rich with oil, copper, iron and timber.)
GO BLUE!
Did Fla -fla state ever represent waring factions? No!
Although there was some blood shed all your ancestors did was try to ethnic clense, and enslave the seminol indians which you now proudly mock as school mascots. Way to go

this is the biggest college football rivalry. Period. Its like Duke-UNC in basketball. And don't bring proximity to the programs into it, ive been a left coaster all my life.
My pick is Michigan in The Big House. There is no way they drop three games in the big house in one year. No Way. Plus its about time Lloyd Carr beat OSU, its been a while, has it not?

Oh yea its been a long while 4 years I think right guys? I can tell ya right now if tressel lost 4 times in a row he wouldn't be coaching. I don't think Lloyd will have a job if he loses this game all the michigan fans I know want him out.

I called a 4 loss season for michigan all the way back in september and I'm expecting my prophecy to come true even if I guessed they'd lose to penn state and not wisconsin.

And farva that football to the face of the OSU fan isn't shit. I've seen multiple michigan fans get teeth knocked, and seen people get sent to the hospital from severe beatings for talking shit about OSU. I don't condone fucking peoples property up (only fucking people up) but I've definitely seen some cars with michigan shit on it burned to the ground.

To this day possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen was after the 2 years of riots and the whole university was on lock down this completely shit faced kid goes and throws a cinder block through the window of this car on 13th that says "go blue" all over it. There was a whole army of police right across the street when this kid did it so he got apprehended right away and cuffed with the zip tie handcuffs.
Somehow he got away from the cops and started running away with his hands cuffed behind his back. He got maybe a half a block away when he got run down and apprehended by a horse cop! This is the only time I've seen a horse cop in action and it was FUCKING HILARIOUS I wish I had it on video.
