well that really depends. the robots could see the human race as a source of competition for limited resources such as land, ore, oil. the only logical plan of action would be to eliminate the competition

I think that materialistic philosophy is the type of flawed thinking we primitive humans exhibit. I would think an advanced, self-aware intelligence would not be subject to the irrational fears that drive stupid animals like ourselves to seek MORE MORE MORE. Advanced biological life has thrived to this point on fear and emotion, and I don't see robots utilizing these same inefficient tools to ensure their own survival.

It depends what you mean by robot.

I think that if we humans will eventually be able to manipulate genomes enough to make new species, in a way they would be artificial, but alive and cognitive none the less.

If we make something smarter and stronger than us I can totally see it turning around and biting us in the ass.

it's not so much a fear of not having more, as a cold, logical realization that the resources are limited and the longer they allow the human race to persist, the sooner those resources will run out, especially considering the shocking rate at which we humans waste those precious resources.

No, in all seriousness, the only drug I have had today so far was a couple cups of coffee earlier this morning, like at 5 am.

Why you ask? Because I didn't spell control right?

i don't mean to sound like a nutter, yet in my heart if robots are logically likely to take over the world. i dout the draconian vampire reptilians and other outer plane terrestrials would stand be subject to such a thing. i think on the contrary they would be the ones initiating such events for their own beniets.

the net reflects the human race almost better then reality for the fact all secrets are able to be exposed with out fear and there is a wider range of consciousness at a moments time. this in effect can be one of the most massive tools of subjection and control layed out be these beings.

the thing that scares me is this block us humans have in our thought process of forgetting. forgetting our past can be the very reason we become subjected to these beings in such a way. i think this is getting worse as lcd's take the strong hold of the human consciousness.

It's already happening here. CCTV systems are a giant network of robots, designed to automatically scan and focus on those with "suspicious behaviour".

Tivo's build up a psychological profile of what you watch, the information can be passed back to the controlling server.

Mobile phones provide a handy way for suspects to be traced.

RFID is infiltrating into more and more places, on euro and dollar notes, providing another way to locate people, and trace where currency is going.

Robots will just facilitate a new world order of slavery, with no privacy, and the freedom to work, or to starve.

True, technology is a catalyst for a new form of slavery. But im talking actual robots. Not tattle tell robot technology.

Have you seen Wal-Mart, son?

There is NO shit in their toilets, EVER.
Well, there is CUSTOMER shit, but no EMPLOYEE shit. I can smell the difference.

Anyways, Robots don't shit. Robots that roll back prices and wear blue vests that shake your hands.

It's been five years since I smelt employee shit in Wal Mart. So the only LOGICAL assumption one must make is that Wal*Mart hires Robots. Automatons don't release feces; this is displeasing to me.

They must hire Robots, which eat the Human employees, but don't shit out their bones, so you can't even tell anymore.

This is directly related to my Alien Theorums.

this one?
