Those definitely do not look like paneolina foenisecii (sp?....mj?). The gills are too light and the edge of the cap seems to be stained bluish or something.....I have never seen foenisecii do that. Also the shape of the cap seems a little different. But then again, I am no mycologist. mj will know for sure.

I did some looking in a mushroom book and these kinda looked like coprinus atramentarius and matched the description in the book. Does anyone think that is what they could be?Thanks Meraok

Hi, Those are probably coprinus atrimentarius,a mushroom which when eaten with alcohol causes severe vomiting for up to one week everytime you take a drink.. It contains disuferam, a chemical related to anti-buse. mj mj [This message has been edited by mjshroomer (edited June 23, 2000).]
